Send copyright concerns to Gio Nui at info@azerothtools.com. Identify the exact material so we can review it. This process does not assert ownership of Blizzard Entertainment's game artwork.
Check the use before sending a notice
Consider whether you own the rights or are authorized to act for the owner, and whether permission or a legal exception applies. An informal message can help resolve an attribution or permission concern, but it is not required before a formal notice.
What to include in a removal request
- Your physical or electronic signature as the rights holder or authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
- The material you believe infringes and its exact page or image URL, with enough detail to locate it.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
Review and action
We review notices promptly, may request missing information, and remove or disable access to material when appropriate. Where a contributor is involved, we may forward the notice and notify them of the action. Contact details can be disclosed as needed to handle the claim or comply with law.
If material was removed by mistake
A counter notice must include a physical or electronic signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
Include your name, address and telephone number, consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address, or if outside the United States, a district where the service provider may be found, and agreement to accept service of process from the original claimant or their agent.
Where the DMCA process applies, we forward a valid counter notice to the claimant. Material may be restored after 10 to 14 business days unless we receive notice that the claimant has filed a court action seeking to restrain the disputed activity.
Repeated or false claims
We may restrict contributions or access for repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. There are no user accounts or public uploads on the site today. Knowingly misrepresenting infringement or mistaken removal may create liability for damages and costs. Send notices and follow-up questions to info@azerothtools.com.
