How to build a WoW Forever raid composition
Use the 40 slot roster for a full Forever raid, or 10 slots for a smaller group. Forever uses its own spell ranks and talent trees here. Its Curse of the Elements and Trueshot Aura records differ from Classic, so inspect their tooltips before assigning a provider.
Each row is a player slot. Changing a class selects its first talent tree. Choose the intended tree for each player before reading coverage. Empty rows preserve party positions in the share link.
What covered, missing and duplicates mean
A category is covered when at least one selected class and tree can supply it. Missing means no selected player supplies it. Duplicates counts categories with more than one provider. Coverage is the number of covered categories divided by the number available to your faction.
A tree choice assumes the player takes that tree's listed raid talents. It does not inspect an exact talent build. Coverage means access, not guaranteed uptime, spell strength or simultaneous use. Extra providers can help with assignments and recovery, but the counter does not claim that their effects stack.
Sunder Armor and Expose Armor share the major armor reduction category. Two providers cover one category. Assign one effect rather than adding their armor reductions together.
A warlock can maintain one curse on a target at a time. Several covered curse categories from one warlock are alternatives, so assign separate warlocks when you need those curses together. Missing categories are a checklist of options, not a demand to fill every category.
Party buffs need party assignments
Each party has 5 slots. Party access lists the parties that contain a provider. A covered party aura does not mean the entire raid receives it. Move a player by clearing their current slot and selecting their class and tree in another party.
Trueshot Aura, Moonkin Aura and Leader of the Pack reach party or raid members in Forever. Windfury, Strength of Earth and Grace of Air also reach beyond one party. Scorch, Shadow Weaving, Winter's Chill and Hemorrhage describe personal damage effects here, so they do not count as shared raid coverage.
Spell examples at level 60
These examples show the ranks used for WoW Forever. Open a spell name in the coverage panel for its duration, cost and full description.
Trueshot Aura
Hunter, Marksmanship. Can be applied across the raid.
Increases the Ranged Attack Power of party or raid members within 45 yards by value not confirmed. Lasts 30 minutes.
Curse of the Elements
Warlock, any tree. Target effect.
Curses the target for 5 minutes, reducing Magic resistances by value not confirmed and increasing Magic damage taken by value not confirmed%. Only one Curse per Warlock can be active on any one target.
Mana Tide Totem
Shaman, Restoration. Party effect.
Summons a Mana Tide Totem with value not confirmed health at the feet of the caster for 12 sec that restores value not confirmed mana every 3 seconds to group members within 30 yards.
Which class should fill the next slot?
Check whether the gap is a class spell or a talent choice. A druid supplies Mark of the Wild and Rebirth regardless of tree, while a Balance selection opens Moonkin Aura. Changing a tree can cover a missing category without adding another class. Confirm the player's actual talent choices before making that assignment.
The list focuses on raid buffs, debuffs, auras and utility. It does not model damage output, tank or healer requirements, resistance gear, encounter mechanics, racial abilities or every cooldown. Copy the share link after editing to keep the raid size, faction, slot order and talent trees.
