How to level enchanting in Forever

WoW Forever has 173 crafting recipes here for enchanting, with a maximum skill of 300. 168 recipes have a matching recipe item. 53 require skill 300 or higher, so they do not help you reach that cap.

69 additional enchanting recipes are left out because their learning requirement or availability is not established for Forever. A missing crafting route does not mean you cannot train further in the game.

The starting route uses Enchant Bracer - Inferior Stamina, consuming 1 Mote of Magic per craft. You can repeat an enchantment on a suitable item. The equipment receiving Enchant Bracer - Inferior Stamina is not consumed in the reagent total.

Recipe colors and material costs

Enchant Bracer - Inferior Stamina requires skill 1, turns yellow at 20, green at 22 and gray at 25. Orange grants skill every craft, yellow and green grant skill less reliably, and gray grants none. The green boundary is the midpoint between yellow and gray, rounded down to a whole skill point.

A worked enchanting route

Starting at skill 1, the default target is 75. The available route reaches 75 using ~74 (74 to 74) crafts estimated. That covers 74 skill points.

For this route, Mote of Magic requires ~20 (20 to 20) estimated; Lesser Magic Essence requires 54. Repeated ingredients are combined across steps. Crafted intermediate materials remain separate shopping entries, so subtract any that you make along the way.

Which enchanting recipe uses fewer materials?

At skill 1, Enchant Bracer - Inferior Stamina consumes 1 reagent units per craft, compared with 2 for Runed Copper Rod. Each item counts as one unit, regardless of its gold price. The route minimizes expected units over the entire skill range, including extra attempts after recipes turn yellow.

Minor Wizard Oil can be learned with Formula: Minor Wizard Oil. Check recipe access, quests and specializations before shopping. Exclude recipes you cannot learn or whose materials cost too much on your realm. Lock a known recipe to give it priority whenever it can grant skill; overlapping locks use the lower expected reagent total.

How estimated enchanting craft counts work

Enchant Bracer - Inferior Stamina has a yellow boundary of 20 and a gray boundary of 25. Its estimated skill gain chance at skill 22 is (25 minus 22) divided by (25 minus 20). Expected crafts equal one divided by that chance. For skill 22 to 23, this gives ~2 (1 to 5) crafts est.

The Enchant Bracer - Inferior Stamina range covers at least 80% of outcomes under this estimated chance model, using the variance of independent attempts. It describes crafting luck under that model, rather than a guarantee about your game. For the longer route to 75, the planner recalculates chance after every skill gain. Update your current skill as you craft, and train the next profession rank before your current rank limit.

What differs in other versions?

Forever uses build 1.60.1.70707 for enchanting. Classic has no additional recipe spells in this comparison. TBC adds recipes such as Enchant Boots - Vitality and Superior Mana Oil.
