WoW Forever item finder

What changes in Forever?

Forever has 17,904 named items in this build. Familiar equipment can have different effects here. Start with the Forever listing when planning a character, then compare other versions to see what carries over.

How to narrow your equipment search

Search for a familiar weapon first, then select its slot and type. A stat filter finds items that list that bonus even when the final amount is not confirmed. Open the item to distinguish a missing amount from a missing stat.

Start a word from the name, such as "sulfuras" forSulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros. Choose two hand and mace to narrow that list. Focus or tap a name to inspect its tooltip. The page link preserves your filters, selected item and current item.

Item level and required level in WoW Forever

Matching item and required levels across versions do not establish that a Forever item has the same damage or effects. Keep those comparisons separate.

Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros is item level 80 and requires level 60. Its binding is "binds when picked up". These are separate properties, so a matching required level does not override the binding restriction.

Weapon damage in WoW Forever

Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros lists a speed of 3.70, but its Forever damage range is not confirmed. Speed alone cannot give damage per second: the formula also needs the midpoint of each damage range. Compare its effects and inspect the weapon in game before using it in a damage calculation.

Is the candidate an upgrade?

Use a selected piece as your current item to compare equipment in the same slot. Forever amounts that are not confirmed stay out of the subtraction. An empty comparison does not mean the items are equally strong.

4,695 Forever items list a stat whose final amount is not confirmed. Their names and listed bonus types remain searchable, but those amounts do not enter an upgrade hint.

Compare the same item across versions

The table keeps Forever's own values beside the other versions. An unavailable damage value stays empty; a Classic damage range is never substituted for it.

Before replacing your equipped item

A Forever listing describes the base piece. Random rolls and character bonuses can change what you see while playing. The presence of an item in the finder does not establish where it drops or whether it is obtainable.

Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros sells to a vendor for 33 gold, 26 silver, 23 copper in WoW Forever.
