TBC Anniversary item finder

Choosing equipment in TBC Anniversary

TBC Anniversary has 28,030 named items in this build. Use hand slots, sockets and fixed stats to compare Outland equipment with older pieces. A higher item level can change the balance of bonuses rather than improve every one.

How to narrow your equipment search

For an Outland weapon, check the slot as well as the type. A main hand listing and a one hand listing are different filters. Select the result to inspect use and equip effects before comparing it with another weapon.

Start a word from the name, such as "nathrezim" forNathrezim Mindblade. Choose main hand and dagger to narrow that list. Focus or tap a name to inspect its tooltip. The page link preserves your filters, selected item and current item.

Item level and required level in TBC Anniversary

Keep required level separate from item level when searching across older and Outland equipment. The former controls equip eligibility; the latter narrows the equipment budget.

Nathrezim Mindblade is item level 125 and requires level 70. Its binding is "binds when picked up". These are separate properties, so a matching required level does not override the binding restriction.

Weapon damage in TBC Anniversary

Nathrezim Mindblade has a speed of 1.80. Add the midpoint of each listed damage range and divide by that speed: ((116 + 216) / 2) / 1.80 = 92.2 damage per second. This is the listed weapon damage before character bonuses and abilities, with chance on hit effects considered separately.

Is the candidate an upgrade?

Set your current TBC piece from the result list, then choose a candidate with the same slot. Stat changes are candidate minus current amounts. A socket or an equip effect is not converted into a made up stat score, so inspect both before deciding.

Nathrezim Mindblade lists 18 stamina, 18 intellect, 23 spell critical strike rating. Compare these amounts with another main hand piece while considering its effects separately.

Using Brutality Blade as the current item and Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker as the candidate: +8 stamina, +8 fire resistance, trading away 4 agility, 9 strength. Compare effects before equipping.

Cursed Vision of Sargeras has 2 sockets, including a meta socket. Gems and socket bonuses are separate from its fixed item stats.

Compare the same item across versions

The selected Outland example is absent from some earlier catalogs. A missing entry is shown as unavailable instead of being matched to a different weapon with a similar name. Where it exists, compare the hand restriction as well as damage.

Before replacing your equipped item

Socketed gems are additional to the base TBC piece. The fixed stat comparison excludes those gems, socket bonuses and enchants. Vendor sell value is also separate from what another player might pay at auction.

Nathrezim Mindblade sells to a vendor for 12 gold, 58 silver, 48 copper in TBC Anniversary.
