Choosing a TBC dungeon while leveling

TBC has 40 listed dungeon entries, including separate Scarlet Monastery wings. At level 30, Gnomeregan fits its listed band of 24 to 32. These bands help choose a group destination. They are separate from the minimum entry requirement shown in the details.

Outland entries begin with Hellfire Citadel - Hellfire Ramparts, at levels 59 to 67. A band can extend beyond the player level cap of 70. This finder covers normal dungeon entries. It does not check heroic keys, attunements or reputation.

TBC raid choices

The list includes 17 raid entries. Compare Karazhan, Gruul's Lair and Magtheridon's Lair at the level cap, then open a destination for its boss list. The raid size is a capacity, not a guarantee that a smaller group can finish the raid.

What the level colors mean

Gnomeregan is yellow from level 24 through level 32, including both ends. Outside that band, its color compares your character with the nearest end of the band. Orange and red mark harder destinations; green and gray mark easier ones. In TBC, these bands choose a destination, while the separate entry message tells you its minimum entry requirement. Neither is a check of your gear or group balance.

Finding drops for your class

In Hellfire Citadel - Hellfire Ramparts, Omor the Unscarred can drop Bloodstained Ravager Gauntlets, a handsitem requiring level 60. Its listed chance is ~17%est.. The class filter checks class restrictions, so an item can still appear even if your character lacks its weapon training or armor proficiency. Compare its stats with your current equipment before planning a run.

TBC's Scarlet Monastery wings share their map and boss pool here. Check the named boss before choosing a wing. These lists cover normal equipment drops, with separate class restrictions for TBC items. Select an item for its other creature drops and estimated farming ranges. The ranges retain rounding and are not measured confidence intervals.

Finding the entrance

Outland dungeon wings often share a travel hub. The Hellfire Citadel entries, for example, have separate entrances in Hellfire Peninsula. Open the selected wing's map before traveling. Coordinates give horizontal position first and vertical position second. A matching faction does not confirm your heroic key, attunement or a safe route through enemy territory.
