How Forever turns stat shares into amounts
Forever divides an item's budget among its listed stats. The budget depends on item level, quality and equipment slot. For each stat, multiply its share by the matching budget, subtract any socket cost, then round to the nearest whole amount. A higher item level alone does not tell you which stat receives the extra budget.
Formula: stat amount = round(stat share divided by the share scale times the slot budget, minus the socket share times the socket cost). The equipment totals add those amounts across your selected pieces. Estimated amounts count too and carry an est. tag. An estimated total is displayed between the enclosing multiples of ten, rather than as a precise amount. That display band is not a measured error margin.
28 items have amounts calculated from their stat shares. A listed bonus without an amount stays out of the total. Weapon damage also stays empty when its amount is unavailable. Moving the same item from Classic does not fill those gaps.
On Dreadnaught Helmet, 7759 divided by 10000 times a budget of 58, minus 0 times a socket cost of 0, rounds to 45 stamina.

For a Forever comparison, copy this set to B and clear its head slot. Removing Dreadnaught Helmet changes the counted stamina from 296 to 251, a loss of 45. The change shown is B minus A. A stat with a missing amount cannot be compared.
Which gear is better for your build?
For a Forever replacement, compare the listed amounts and read the current effect text. Familiar Classic names do not establish identical bonuses. The totals do not include character base stats, talent modifiers, enchants, gems, random rolls or temporary buffs. Equip effects and active set bonuses are shown separately and are not added a second time.
Forever talent builds stay with the gear link. Save one for your class, then choose it under your character. Crossing to Era or TBC clears the attached talents because the trees differ. Open Forever talents.
Common equipment mistakes in Forever
The Forever example counts Dreadnaught's Battlegear pieces with one ring. Adding the same unique ring to the other slot moves it instead of doubling its bonuses. A two hand weapon also clears the off hand.
Forever warriors gain plate at level 40, while hunters gain mail at level 40. Weapon training still matters in game even when the class can learn a proficiency. The picker filters the types your class can learn at your level; it cannot tell which trainers you have visited. Profession requirements, reputation and other personal unlocks still apply to an item you plan to use.
Choose your Forever race and faction before filling restricted slots. Skyborne factions have separate race restrictions, and a Classic race choice does not describe every Forever character. Local sets stay in this browser. Copy the link before moving to another device.
